These records may be subject to inspection by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) and other law enforcement agencies.

California state law (Penal Code § 28160–28230) also imposes additional recordkeeping and reporting requirements. These include DROS submissions, handgun safety certificate records, and reporting of certain transactions to the California Department of Justice.

These regulatory recordkeeping obligations take precedence over any request to delete or modify transaction-related personal information. We cannot delete legally required firearms transaction records even upon customer request.
