The CCW Application Process
Follow these steps to obtain your California concealed carry permit
Complete Training
Attend a 16+ hour CCW training course covering California firearms laws, safe storage, mental health resources, and conflict de-escalation (required by SB 2).
Live-Fire Qualification
Demonstrate shooting proficiency with your firearm at approved distances. You must achieve 80% accuracy with each gun you list on your permit.
